Who we are

Scriber's Adventures is a small Montserrat-based tour operator run by James "Scriber" Daley, MBE. Our business address is Brades, Montserrat, West Indies. For any privacy questions, contact us at info@scribersadventures.com.

Information we collect

When you contact us or book a tour, we collect:

• Contact details — name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number.
• Booking details — tour selected, date, time, group size, and any notes you share (mobility, dietary needs, cruise ship, etc.).
• Payment information — handled directly by our payment processor (Stripe). We never see or store your full card number.
• Basic technical data — your device type and the pages you visit on our site, used to keep the site working and secure.

How we use your information

• To reply to your enquiry and arrange your tour.
• To process payments and send booking confirmations.
• To contact you about your booking (weather changes, meeting point, etc.).
• To keep records required by law (tax, accounting).

We do not sell your information. We do not send marketing emails unless you ask us to.

Who we share information with

We only share your information with service providers who help us run the business:

• Stripe — to process card payments securely.
• Email and hosting providers — to deliver our website and send booking emails.
• Authorities — only where required by law.

How long we keep your information

We keep enquiry messages for up to 12 months and booking records for as long as required by tax and accounting law in Montserrat (typically 7 years).

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• See what information we hold about you.
• Correct anything that is wrong.
• Delete your information (where we are not required to keep it).

Cookies

Our site uses only the essential cookies needed to keep it working (for example, to remember your booking session during checkout). We do not currently use advertising or analytics tracking cookies.

Children

Our site is not directed at children under 16. Bookings should be made by an adult on behalf of any minors in the group.
