Scriber's Adventures launches Montserrat's first online tour booking site
Scriber’s Adventures has launched a redesigned website at scribersadventures.com, and with it the first time anyone visiting Montserrat can book and pay for a guided tour of the island online, directly from the guide who runs it. For Scriber’s Adventures, this is a milestone. For Montserrat, it’s a real step toward the seamless visitor experience the rest of the Caribbean has had for years, and the beginning of leveling up what visitors to the Emerald Isle can expect when they plan a trip.
Now booking online, a first for the Emerald Isle
For the first time, you can browse Scriber’s full lineup of guided tours, choose a date, and pay online in under two minutes, with bookings open through the end of the year. Whether you want the gentle Blackwood Allen Trail, the extreme climb up Katy Hill, the buried city of Plymouth from the safety of the hills, or Scriber’s signature six-in-the-morning Bird Watching Tour after the rare Montserrat Oriole, it’s all in one place at scribersadventures.com/tours, with full itineraries, real photographs, and clear pricing. Payment is handled securely through Stripe, and every booking is personally confirmed by Scriber within hours.

A dedicated experience for cruise visitors
As Montserrat ramps up its cruise ship visits, those visitors now have their own dedicated page on the site. The Cruise Visitors page features a purpose-built shore excursion that starts with pier pickup at Little Bay, takes guests through the buried city of Plymouth and a stop at the Montserrat Volcano Observatory, and gets them back to the ship before all-aboard. The whole package is timed to a port stop and bookable before guests even leave home port.
A simpler way to reach Scriber
Getting hold of Scriber has never been simpler. Every page now carries a floating WhatsApp button, and the new contact page brings together phone, email, and a quick contact form in one place. No more lost emails, and a response is usually within a few hours.
Coming next: the Epic St Patrick’s Boat Tour
Montserrat is the only country outside Ireland where St Patrick’s Day is a national public holiday, and the festival around it is one of the Caribbean’s most loved cultural events. Scriber’s next addition to the site, the Epic St Patrick’s Boat Tour, is launching in February 2027, a month before Montserrat’s famous St Patrick’s Festival, as a special one-off, and the notify-me page is live now. Anyone planning to be on the island for festival season is encouraged to sign up so they’re the first to know when bookings open.
The road to today
The site relaunch follows a couple of remarkable years for Scriber’s Adventures. Back in May 2023, Channel 5’s Ben Fogle and the Buried City, part of British TV adventurer Ben Fogle’s Lost Worlds series, brought Scriber to a new international audience as Fogle’s local guide through Plymouth. The full story of that visit, including a moment Ben recorded for his own family, is over here on the blog.
Eighteen months after that documentary aired, in December 2024, James “Scriber” Daley was awarded Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) by His Majesty The King, for services to the Natural World and to Tourism on Montserrat. Recognition from London, attention from British television, and growing visitor interest in the Emerald Isle made it the right time to bring the website to the level of the experience itself.

Have you toured with Scriber? Leave a review
Scriber’s TripAdvisor listing has been refreshed and is live. If you’ve travelled with Scriber and had a good experience, a few honest sentences on TripAdvisor are one of the most useful things you can do. Reviews help future travellers choose with confidence, and they help Montserrat itself climb in the Caribbean travel searches more visitors run every day.
With thanks
A relaunch like this is never the work of one person. Scriber’s Adventures would like to thank the Montserrat Tourism Authority for its ongoing support of local guides on the island, Mike Schinkel for sharing his photography, Ben Fogle for the time he spent on the trails and the spotlight he put on Montserrat through Channel 5, and KAFU for its support. Thanks also to the many friends, past guests, and quiet supporters who contributed photos, stories, and encouragement along the way. The new site is genuinely a community effort.
Plan your visit to Montserrat
The new site is live now at scribersadventures.com. Tours are bookable through the end of the year, with new dates added regularly. Cruise visitors are asked to share their ship name, date, and all-aboard time when booking, so the timing can be guaranteed.
Hear it live on ZJB Radio, June 9
Scriber will be on ZJB Radio with George on June 9 at 11 AM, talking through all the details of the new site, the upcoming season, and what visitors to the Emerald Isle can look forward to next. Tune in.
